Rehabilitation of a small residential ruin within the urban fabric of Alfama. The two residential units were merged into a single dwelling, allowing the vertical circulation to become an integral part of the overall volume and enhancing the home’s natural light and ventilation.
The limited original structure led to the creation of four distinct spaces, defined by the staircase as an axis, with visual relationships between them.
